Beyond the track
After fourteen years as a Paralympic athlete, I now work to raise awareness of inclusion and disability among the people who lead institutions, companies and sport in Italy and Europe, and I bring my experience into schools and universities. And I keep pushing my limits in sport.
Four TEDx talks, from Bergamo in 2014 to Cortina in 2025, and the Council of Europe panel on athlete leadership.
On the IPC Athletes’ Council since 2021 and World Para Athletics’; for Milano Cortina 2026, the Foundation’s Legacy Specialist.
Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2013, four Golden Collars for sporting merit and the first Edoardo Mangiarotti Award.
